BURIDANE

A simple and magnificent formula: Buridane, on guitar and vocals, accompanied by Claudine Pauly on cello, revisits songs that speak of the defining moments of her human and artistic journey. Moments marked by joy, or by hardship.

A direct and poignant testimony: a long poem unfolds between each song, tracing her adventure, exploring the gallery of portraits of all the encounters that shaped her path. A path begun in 2007, on the very stage of À Thou Bout d’Chant, Buridane’s very first concert.

Buridane wanted to bring people together around her for one evening at Thou Bout d’Chant, in the very venue where she was artistically born, to present for the first time this creation—so personal, so direct, so sincere.

This evening is not a loop closing, but a collective step toward the future.

Opening act, MO(I): Mo(i) is a solitary dive into a quest for self. Amidst powerful lyrics with an assertive footprint, vocals and guitar come to life thanks to the magic of the looper accompanying the singer on stage. Straddling French chanson and acoustic pop, the music of Mo(i) takes shape with an ambivalence between strength and gentleness.
