For its very first venture, Émergence takes over a location steeped in history: the Cloître des Carmes, in the heart of Avignon.
Built in the 14th century, this former Gothic convent has weathered the centuries before becoming a venue for artistic creation. Since 1967, it has notably hosted the creations of the Festival d'Avignon.
For one night, Émergence brings this heritage into dialogue with a contemporary aesthetic, bridging architecture, electronic music, light, and scenography.
