Sold out in advance last time, name-checked on Steve Lamacq's BBC Radio 6 Music show, and with past editions headlined by Jack Jones (Trampolene), Gemma Rogers and Bless — Club Brinksmat + Strummerville Presents return to The Star of Kings for another night celebrating London's independent live music.

Headlining are Them Nudes, launching their first EP in 20 years. The last time the London four-piece put out new music they were sharing bills with Jamie T, Florence and the Machine, The Maccabees and Dirty Pretty Things. Back with demos in 2023 and back on stage in 2024, they now unveil a new collection featuring South London Fairytale and Love Song for the Boys — their first full-length release since Something to Say and 18. Formed by Max Smoke, The Kid and Papa Gus, with old friend Steve Fuzz completing the line-up in December 2024, their songwriting stays rooted in The Clash and The Jam: punk energy and stories from everyday London life.

Support comes from Danny Onions, playing his first gig of any kind in over six years. Best known for his work with The Meat and Onions Gang, he returns with a collection of new material — and hopes among fans of a long-awaited reunion to come.

Hosting the evening is Just Dennis, a familiar face from Strummerville's stage at Glastonbury.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to Euston Food Bank.
