British-Cypriot singer-songwriter **Echo Wants Her Voice Back** brings her folk-noir sound to Piano Smithfield for a special London performance with special guests.
The project of singer-songwriter, actor and writer Eleni Skarpari, Echo Wants Her Voice Back blends folk-noir, indie and blues with literary and mythological influences, moving between the personal and the imagined. She has performed at SXSW, for BBC Radio, and at Marlborough House, where she represented Cyprus at the Commonwealth Day reception. Releases include the EPs Heart of Stone and Bad, the BBC Introducing-featured Mermaids, Your Reality and recent single Crimson Sun. Her new single Hunger, a collaboration with West Midlands-based composer and producer Mark Smith, will be released on 9 October.
London singer-songwriter **Taliesin** brings together fingerpicked guitar, folk and soul, with adventurous harmony and a distinctive rasp. He has performed at Glastonbury and Wilderness, and released his debut EP in 2024. Drawing influence from artists including Bill Withers and John Martyn, his songwriting is rooted in people, community and nature.
**Bessie Deakin** is a London-based cross-genre singer-songwriter known for her autobiographical story songs, distinctive vocals and live performances at venues including The Half Moon Putney & The Troubadour. Her debut EP Lady Red was released in 2021, featuring the title track, Extended in Space.. She returned with new music in 2026, with further releases to follow.
