États Sensibles 2 - piano concert, live painting

To mark the closing of the exhibition Strates, presented at Rêva from October 13 to November 3, 2026, a new edition of États sensibles is proposed: a live performance at the crossroads of painting and improvised music.

For the duration of an evening, visual artist Clothilde Fricot Mugnerot and pianist Léo Bailac will come together to create a work in real time.

For 30 to 45 minutes, Clothilde will create a large-format canvas before the eyes of the public, while Léo builds a piano improvisation.

🎨 The painting happens live. 🎹 The music does too.

Here, neither medium illustrates the other. The pictorial gesture and the sound respond to each other, influence one another, and evolve together in a spontaneous creation that only exists in this exact moment. The audience thus witnesses not the presentation of a finished work, but rather its creation process.

This performance extends the universe of Strates, a series centered around matter, movement, and transformation, and brings the exhibition to a close with a work created specially for the occasion.

🌑 États sensibles 2 will therefore be the final gathering of the Strates exhibition at Rêva.
