Etran de L'Aïr, the oldest wedding orchestra in Agadez, the capital of Tuareg guitar, returns with a new album filled with sunny desert sounds! Their first album, No.1, introduced their music to critics and fans alike. Their second album, Agadez, propelled them onto the international tour circuit. And now, they are back with 100% Sahara Guitar, ready to conquer the world with swinging melodies like a sandstorm blowing across the sea. Drones are a powerful force, capable of whisking our thinking mind far, far, away. Austin-based collective Water Damage yields the same power whenever they pick up their instruments. Veterans from other projects (a.o. Spray Paint, Black Eyes, Swans, more eaze, USA/Mexico and more), the band is not unfamiliar with the unshakeable power of music; still, as Water Damage, they stretch out drone’s possibilities to their limits, bowing to the principle ‘Maximal Repetition Minimal Deviation’.
