The story
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH | FEDER @ Sport Beach Table Booking: 07 83 62 34 89
Feder does nothing like everyone else. In 2015, Hadrien Federiconi chose the catchy "Goodbye" as his introduction to the public. It was a wise choice, as his first single, far from being a farewell, quickly ranked #1 on iTunes in 22 countries and sat at the top of the French Shazam chart for 7 weeks straight (a record for 2015). Since then, Feder has established himself as an essential pillar of French electro. His magic recipe remains unchanged today: thoughtful beats, addictive melodies, and an innate sense of synthetic twist.
While current productions race towards simplicity to seduce, the Nice-born producer takes the opposite approach to his peers, intellectualizes his music, puts it through the grinder, and embellishes it with sounds each more twisted and sophisticated than the last to obtain a result that is both accessible and terribly hypnotizing. A winning formula, as proven by the immediate success of the tracks "Lordly" (official anthem of the Handball World Championship) and "Breathe", from the EP of the same name, accompanied by a video directed by British avant-garde photographer Rankin. An artist with a strong, polished, and captivating image. Building on these successes, Hadrien Federiconi decided to take on a new challenge by teaming up with young electro up-and-comer Jen Jis to produce "Keep Us Apart", whose sound playfully interacts with the artistic lines of both producers. He then continued to surprise his audience by producing 6 tracks for the new album of Mylène Farmer, the French female artist who has sold the most records (over 30 million) and holds the record for the most diamond discs. Then Feder drew inspiration from hip-hop influences alongside Dan Caplen (voice of the global hit "These Days" by Rudimental, Macklemore & Jess Glynne) and Bryce Vine on "Control". He followed up with a track featuring rapper Sadek for a completely offbeat tribute to the French capital, "Parigo". This unique collaboration blends the influences of both artists, a fast-paced electro production, and sharp lyrics to paint a derelict picture of modern Paris. In 2024, he returns with a series of hybrid tracks, including "Kayes", an afro-house UFO with irresistible rhythms. Now boasting 1.5 billion streams on platforms and 300M YouTube views, and always eager for new collaborations, Feder continually proves he is not just a DJ but a complete artist-producer, from the studio to the stage.
