FIP 360 Monnaie de Paris

On September 8th, FIP will return for the 5th time to the Monnaie de Paris. This gathering in the magnificent main courtyard of the Quai Conti palace is becoming a true tradition. Created in the 9th century by Charles the Bald, one of the oldest institutions in the world, the Monnaie thus hosts the most contemporary DJs and producers each year, alongside cutting-edge 3D Live technology.

For this session, the 12 speakers of the L-Acoustics L-ISA system, arranged in 360° in the courtyard of the Monnaie, will resound with the beats of 3 French producers: Abs8lute, Kangding Ray live, and Chloé.

Abs8lute is a DJ and activist. Her hypnotic and percussive techno style stands out for its ability to create a unique, multi-layered primitive atmosphere, driven by an irresistible groove. A staunch campaigner for the representation of women and minorities in electronic music, she founded the feminist collective Vénus Club and is known for her free, caring, and inclusive parties.

Kangding Ray, aka David Letellier, made a name for himself on the legendary German label Raster-Noton. His more recent club-oriented productions navigate uncharted territories between experimental music and dance music.

Like Kangding Ray, who scored the music for the film Sirat, Chloé creates film soundtracks. She notably composed the score for Paris la Blanche, a film by Lidia Terki. But above all, she has been an essential figure in DJing and electronic production almost forever. Her minimalist and avant-garde sets have made her one of the most respected DJs of her generation.
