After their first EP “...About Going Home” released in 2023 and about fifty dates across France and Europe, FRAGILE released their debut album “Big Big Smile” via Le Cèpe Records. With this new record, the band from Angers asserts a strong identity, at the crossroads of tense punk, emo sensitivity, and contemplative shoegaze soundscapes.
Selected for the iNOUïS du Printemps de Bourges 2025, FRAGILE has made its mark through stage intensity and efficient songwriting. This first full-length album does not merely prolong their previous style: more structured, less tortured yet just as intense, it portrays a form of lucid nostalgia. The band was also noticed during their appearance at MaMA in 2025, and two sold-out release parties in Angers (Chabada) and Paris (Boule Noire).
Between urgency and progression, direct emotion and unifying melodies, FRAGILE is carving out a unique path. This new album marks a turning point: more polished, more open, it reveals a band in full evolution, shaped by a much more positive writing context.
Numerous dates are already confirmed for 2026, including a tour in Canada. Their meteoric rise is an absolute must-watch!
