Further Out To Sea & Lucia Goya-Betts

An evening of original compositions ranging from classical to folk and jazz.

Headlining the night will be Further Out To Sea, a quartet featuring Jonah Phillips on the drums, Kavi Maraj on guitar and voice, Georgia Morgan-Turner on guitar and voice, and Lucia Goya-Betts on piano and voice. The four will bring a series of originals and explorative cover arrangements with expansive rhythmic variations and layered harmonies.

Opening the night will be an intimate set of classical and jazz influenced compositional pieces by pianist Lucia Goya-Betts and featuring cellist Anna Leary who is currently doing an MA at Royal College of Music. Expect ruminative, complex harmonies from the likes of contemporary English pastoralism and impressionist European harmony and cinema.
