GNAWA DIFFUSION The grand return of Gnawa Diffusion, led by the indestructible Amazigh Kateb, more compelling and bubbling than ever. The message is powerful, and on stage, the atmosphere promises to be incandescent! Gnawa Diffusion has lost none of its verve or the brilliance of its message. Created in Grenoble in 1992, the Franco-Algerian collective has returned to the studio, but it is still live on stage that they reveal their full power. The same stage energy, the same free and libertarian speech, and the same biting humor drive them. Because nothing has changed and inequalities are still there. Insubordination flows through their veins, especially those of their leader, Amazigh Kateb, son of the Algerian poet Kateb Yacine. Effervescent ragga, electric chaâbi, possessed raï, furious rock, and gnawa trance: their fusion is that of a never-extinguished volcano. GULTRAH SOUND SYSTEM Leader of the Tunisian underground scene since its inception in 2006, Gultrah is undoubtedly the most renowned band in Tunisia. Gultrah's songs do not hide an active social commitment, and their music, with influences as varied as they are eclectic (reggae, rock, roots...), has left an indelible mark on its audience. They define themselves as part of "roots tounsi," as their music constantly draws on Tunisian musical heritage while opening up to the world. After a first album paying tribute to Tunisians—with their fears, concerns, and the injustices they face, while advocating a glimmer of youthful hope—Gultrah returns with a second album that plunges into the depths of introspection and self-acceptance through nine poignant tracks. Each song invites listeners to explore the recesses of their own being. Thus, the work transcends mere music to become an authentic and transformative exploration of the human soul.
