Got Soul Carnival Special - BH Sun 30th Aug

The last bank holiday weekend of summer is always a special one for us at Got Soul. It's the weekend we threw the first-ever Got Soul Special. We removed the tables and chairs and made it so that it was more of a dance party than a Neo Soul lounge.

The rest is history. Over a decade later, the Got Soul Specials have seen 10,000s walk through our doors.

On Bank Holiday Sunday 30th Aug, Got Soul are back at Pop Brixton for their biggest party of the year.

Hey Essay & friends will be on hand playing everything from Neo Soul to Afro Beats to Soca to Garage to Amapiano. And all this is Free so whether you're looking for an early pre-party drink, a post-carnival afterparty, or simply an alternative to the Bank Holiday festivities, we've got you covered.

Expect to hear the usual Neo Soul classics as well as an added measure of musical goodness such as R&B, HipHop, Soca, Reggae/Dancehall, Garage, Amapiano & Afro House.
