On a crusade to set dancefloors on fire with their sharp and inimitable funk and disco, High Fade already counts Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple) and Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) among their fans. Having shaped their sound in the streets of their native Edinburgh, the band gives their absolute best up close to the audience. With over a thousand concerts under their belt, they have developed a refined and contagious live performance, which has become an essential component of their DNA, allowing them to deliver a show that surpasses anything their fans have experienced so far.

After a fruitful period starting from its creation in Lille in 2013 following a won competition and a tour in England, Jo Deer moved back to live in Rouen in 2017. This was followed by a phase of exploration and deepening. Following a jam session meeting with his 3 new partners Ben (saxophone), Moncef (bass) and Simon (drums), the idea came up to relaunch the project with a new approach. With the 3 musicians coming from various backgrounds, a blend of genres took place. Ranging from Wolfmother's punk to Deluxe's pop/funk passing through Frank Zappa's madness, the Jo Deer project comes out of it completely reshaped. After a first concert in October 2024, Jo Deer is ready to come back and make hips and necks move.
