Hubris

“hubris.” is a Swiss post-rock band originally from Fribourg. Formed in 2014, the instrumental band is characterized by its original style mixing an experimental post-rock touch, electronic atmospheres, and some elements from the progressive and metal scenes. They draw inspiration from artists such as Woodkid, Jon Hopkins, and The Contortionist, among others. With a style that evokes introspection, hubris are known for the length of their compositions, allowing for a range of evolving emotions through softness and power. Sometimes compared to other artists like Sigur Rós or Long Distance Calling, the band stirs emotions in its audience through a heterogeneous musical landscape that blends poetic environments and raw energy.
