Since the release of Meridian in 2021, Hippotraktor has established itself as one of the rising acts in European progressive metal. Hailing from Mechelen, Belgium, the band has forged a powerful identity, combining massive riffs, technical precision, and rhythmic intensity. This rise was confirmed with Stasis, released in 2024 via Pelagic Records, an album praised by international critics for its strength, mastery, and depth. Also renowned for the impact of their live performances, Hippotraktor has left a lasting impression at major festivals such as Graspop, Alcatraz, ArcTanGent, Motocultor, and ESNS. The band now continues its evolution with Annihilist, their most ambitious album to date, expected on October 2, 2026 via Pelagic Records.
