Sofia Grant and Inês Loubet are friends, collaborators, and two dynamic voices on the contemporary jazz scene.
Inês Loubet is a Portuguese singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer blending Latin-jazz, Tropicália, and soulful grooves into her signature sound. Her music has captivated audiences at the EFG London Jazz Festival, Tropical Pressure Festival, and Brick Lane Jazz Festival, as well as venues like the Royal Albert Hall and Union Chapel. Senga has cemented Inês as a rising songwriter, with widespread praise for its blend of poetic themes, lush harmonies, and compelling rhythms.
Sofia Grant is a folk jazz artist from London. She writes about our relationship with the natural world. Lyrically bold and vocally dextrous, her songs about permafrost and species decline place her at the cutting edge of climate and sound. She recently made her US debut, performing at the world-renowned SXSW festival in Austin Texas as part of Jazz re:freshed’s acclaimed showcase of British talent. An experienced vocalist who has worked with UK jazz talents like Poppy Ajudha, she explores the role music can play in igniting climate action and the importance of song in ecological and environmental healing.
The pair come together for a playful and conversational performance, reimagining their compositions in an intimate duo format - a celebration of music and friendship.
