The story
Jarring Fest’ is back in Lyon from October 14 to 16! 3 days, 3 venues, concerts, poetic performances, and workshops to celebrate music and audio-activism.
▃▃▃ WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14 ▃▃▃ 📍 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄̧𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒅𝒆 𝑳𝒚𝒐𝒏
𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐁𝐄 | 𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒉𝒐𝒑 At the crossroads of hip-hop, bass music, maloya, salegy, and electronica, LWANBE unveils KAPOK, a live performance as powerful as it is hypnotic. Surrounded by machines, synthesizers, kayamb, and percussion, she turns her multiple heritages into an immersive experience where trance, club energy, and soundscapes meet. ▃▃▃ THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15 ▃▃▃ 📍 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒔 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚
𝐋𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐞 | 𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝒑𝒐𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒚 Blending queer poetry, spoken word, and radical electronics, La Peau Douce delivers a performance where words meet tribe, acid techno, and noise sounds. Through texts on desire, grief, and the connections between bodies, the duo crafts a sensitive, direct, and hypnotic experience. Following a notable appearance at Jarring Fest in 2023, La Peau Douce returns with a new creation where poetry becomes a strange dancefloor. ➡️ soundcloud.com/lapeaudouce ➡️ lapeaudouce.bandcamp.com/album/atlantide
𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐞𝐧 𝐘 - 𝐋𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧 | 𝐩𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 With Le Parchemin, ECRIRE en Y and musician Jasmine offer a performance where poetry, live music, and scenography become one. The texts unfold across long rolls of tracing paper, turning the reading into a visual as much as a sonic gesture. Between an ode to life, a celebration of friendship, and women's narratives, this sensitive creation invites us to slow down, listen, and make poetry a space for encounter and resistance. ➡️ instagram.com/ecrire_en_y
