JETLAG is an evening for those who know that kind of jet lag. Not the one from a plane, but the one we carry around with us all the time. Three artists, three ways of turning into music what it feels like to grow up between cultures.

baozi is celebrating the release of liminal echo, her second EP born from a return to China and Hong Kong—an electropop record suspended between what we leave behind and what we become. Alongside her, Cumulus. navigates nostalgia and self-discovery, while Ilo Navahy brings her engaged, punk voice that claims the right to be whole.

BAOZI At the crossroads of house, techno, and alternative pop, baozi turns intimate emotions into cinematic soundscapes.

A 24-year-old French singer-songwriter originally from Hong Kong, she trained in violin and piano before launching her first project (g y l s) at age 14, which has now accumulated over a million streams.

Living in Paris since she was 18, she met her partner and producer there, with whom she creates baozi. After Blue (2022) and Camera (2023), influenced by French Touch, Billie Eilish, and Bolis Pupul, she has refined an electronic direction where velvety vocals, ethereal synth pads, and deep basslines converse.

Her debut EP Overstepped (January 2025), born from introspection in the Netherlands, explores anxiety and vulnerability, and was reissued in September 2025 (Over(over)Stepped). A return to her roots in China and Hong Kong in early 2026 inspired her second EP liminal echo (September 18), which is calmer and more focused on nostalgia and coming of age.

Today, baozi is building a project where image, sound, and narrative move forward together: intimate, danceable, and sincere.

CUMULUS. Cumulus. is a 25-year-old artist and producer who grew up between China and South Korea. Self-taught, he has been composing music in his bedroom since he was 14, starting with apps on his iPad.

During the 2020 lockdown, he decided to launch his solo career under the name "Cumulus.".

He sings in English, French, and sometimes even Mandarin Chinese, his native language. Refusing to lock himself into a single register, he explores a wide palette of styles, from bossa nova to R&B. Today, he is preparing his first project, an EP titled "NOTES2CŒUR*".

ILO NAVAHY From Dakar to Paris, from social media to the stage, and from a people-pleaser to an unapologetic artist. More than just a passion, music has always been a means of emancipation for Ilo Navahy.

Coming from the Malagasy diaspora and growing up in Senegal, Ilo Navahy grew up in a culture where singing is so omnipresent that it is taken for granted. "In Malagasy culture, everyone sings. Commercials are sung, family gatherings are concerts.

It’s not 'considered a talent,'" she confides. "I was just a good student who wanted to please her parents and everyone around her. I sang for that reason too. But I didn't dare admit to myself that this was what I wanted to do." It was upon arriving in France for her studies that Ilo discovered the freedom to escape labels. She first collaborated with Jean Crosetti, the guitarist of her band, co-signed an EP, and explored the behind-the-scenes of creation. Even though this momentum was abruptly stopped by COVID, the seed was planted. But she first put her "good girl" hat back on, chaining internships and projects, and contenting herself with "checking boxes" for 4 years.
