JWLES - L'Affranchi

A resident of Saint-Denis, the long-haired MC has been very active recently. Having grown up between New York and Grasse, he co-founded LTR Worldwide. His art is multilingual, and his range of musical references and influences is highly varied. This cross-pollination of cultures is felt through his projects and collaborations in France (Blasé, Mad Rey, Le Lij, Rim'K, Brodinski, etc.) and internationally (Shawny Binladen, Fergy53, Nutso Thugn, Paco Panama, etc.), perfectly summing up his rap: globalized, fresh, and youthful. The music he produces is actually a quest for his inner self. His flow is both sharp and laid-back. He rhymes like Gainsbourg but raps like Snoop.
