A Frenchman who grew up in the United States and is now based in the Paris region, Jwles is forging a unique path bridging rap, fashion, and visual culture, revealing the richness and breadth of his artistic vision. His travels — from Atlanta to Russia via Egypt — feed a globalized and unpredictable aesthetic. Spotlighted by cutting-edge artists in their niche scenes, he has collaborated with Shawny Binladen, Skrilla, Slimesito, and Sideshow, illustrating the extent of his connections within the American underground rap scene. In France, he has been working for several years with producers Blasé and Mad Rey. His musical world also sits between electro and hip-hop, backed by Brodinski and Pedro Winter of Ed Banger Records. With one foot in fashion and art, he moves alongside artists like Shadrinsky and Chito, appears in the Supreme ecosystem, and notably walked in a first runway show for Prototypes. His latest release, Bijoux, and its extended version Bijoux de Luxe, extend this hybrid artistic vision. Back from Russia — in the arm of a bear — he will perform as Jwles at La Cigale on December 10, 2026.
