For ten years, KANAAN has relentlessly explored the territories of heavy psych, progressive rock, jazz, and improvisation, building album after album a sound that is as massive as it is free.

In 2026, the Norwegian trio celebrates its tenth anniversary with its tenth album, simply titled Kanaan, to be released on October 16 via Jansen Records, just three days before this Parisian date.

Conceived as a synthesis of everything the band has developed since its beginnings, this new album pushes every facet of KANAAN even further: more immediate melodies, wilder psychedelic passages, deliberately raw analog sounds, and above all, heavier riffs than ever before.

Recorded at Athletic Sound in Halden with Dag Erik Johansen, Kanaan captures a band that has reached full maturity yet is still driven by the same urge to play, improvise, and push its own limits.
