__________________________________ Three members of the Karmen family are getting together for the last Freeday Camina of the summer. __________________________________

★ Makar is a Strasbourg-based DJ, influenced by the house scene she discovered in Scotland. Her sets navigate between soulful house, Chicago ghetto house, and UK breaks. Co-founder of the Mal.e.s collective in 2019, she has made a mark on the Strasbourg scene, notably at La Kulture. In 2022, she joined Cymatique Records and Compagnie Watt, blending music and house dance.

★ Equipped with four turntables (Vinyl/CD/USB), a playful sense of dance, and a chaotic curiosity, DJ Ursula (Zoe Heselton) improvises eclectic and adventurous sets that oscillate between ritual percussion, spoken word poetry, dub, hip-hop, experimental techno, dance music, punk, field recordings, and far beyond—sometimes acting as a straightforward selecta, sometimes simultaneously layering multiple records, all of which goes to show that there is far more music in the world than there are borders, and that is a very good thing.

★ 1client, a member of the Flashball collective and resident at Karmen Camina, has spent fifteen years shaping sets that blend playful and mental techno with dub, tribal, and trance influences, fueled by his love for intense dancefloors and unclassifiable sounds.
