Kick Out The Jams presents Brighton's CURRLS + Top Shagger + Dreamhaus on Wednesday 23rd September at The Blue Posts, Berwick St, Soho, London W1.
Currls are a Brighton-based garage rock trio, formed from humble beginnings in 2017 who have steadily been making a name for themselves on the gig circuit. Their compelling mix of garage rock, punk, and pop landed them on BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens Introducing Show and caught the attention of BBC Introducing’s Melita Dennett who hunted them down after hearing them at The Great Escape Festival. The band were featured on Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging talent longlist 2022 and have big plans for their future. In online music magazine The Line of Best Fit, journalist Lauren Down said, “ Currls are a rallying cry, Scuzzy riot grrrl inspired pop-punk made for the main stage. Authentic, snarling and converting you to the band’s cause as she goes.”
