The story
"The band that best sang of social democracy (and fence-sitting)" — El Salto
"A cult band..." — Rockdelux Some concerts are much more than a concert. To mark the theatrical release of "Anoche Conquisté Tebas" (Last Night I Conquered Thebes), the new film by Gabriel Azorín, Las Víctimas Civiles return to the stage for a very special performance at Sala Sol.
The band lands with their unique universe of carnival punk-rock, poetry, humor, and political criticism as fierce as it is unclassifiable. An exceptional celebration bridging music, cinema, and counterculture, connected by a blood tie: Héctor Arnau, the band's frontman, lends his voice and body to "Anoche Conquisté Tebas".
This concert is part of Los Buenos Augurios, the program of activities accompanying the film's release.
If you've ever seen them, you know no two concerts are alike. If you never have, this could be one of those opportunities that takes years to come around again.
