Revealed as a figure of the gothic avant-garde thanks to her album Horizons du fantastique, Léa Jacta Est is described by Tsugi as “a missing link between Nine Inch Nails and Mylène Farmer”.

After spreading her unexplained sounds across France's DIY scenes, Léa comes to Montreuil to present her second opus, Hématomancie. This raw and mystical album is considered the dark side of Horizons du fantastique.

* Sunwell (doomgaze)

Elya's solo project—whom we find in Death By Fog, Deûle, Morveux and more recently Ladeûlas—Sunwell weaves drone loops and vocal incantations, creating gothic love songs in a dark landscape, beneath a mysterious veil. She was discovered in the Hauts-de-France region with Mono or on European roads alongside Sophia Djebel Rose. From this wandering, an already cult aura was born.

“I met Elya on tour during a stop in Lille. I was immediately bewitched by her irrevocable presence as well as the ingenuity of her live set. Programming Sunwell for this release party stems from that spell which has never left me.” (LJE)

* Marius Atherton (synth folk)

Marius Atherton is one of those whose music is hard to describe. He helps us by claiming the influence of Anne Sylvestre and Baroque composers (Bach, Pergolesi…), yet his proposition lies in a fissure that is unsettling to enter.

“Marius and I were scheduled at the Méandres Festival (Niort) this spring. I was strongly recommended to attend his concert, and rightly so, as he transformed the Niort media library into a parallel dimension where peace is offered to us upon leaving.” (LJE)
