The Wampas have been making rock music for 40 years, and they aren't stopping anytime soon! Labelled as alternative rock, or even psychobilly, the band has always played with the big league without ever acting like the playground bully. With the Wampas, everything converges towards energy, pleasure, and the riff bursting from a furious six-string to defy life's crap with panache. Political, the Wampas? Yes, but without pomposity, without stating the obvious, and always with humor and humility: this is what, forty years later, makes them a band with an unshakeable, enduring charm. It's generous, lively, upbeat, and fueled by the joyful rage to fight back against life.

DIDIER SUPER

Didier Super and his band Discount / Discount is Didier Super with musicians, but additionally backed by three female singers—not because he thinks it's important to honor gender parity in contemporary music, but as he puts it so well: "The best way not to have your balls busted by feminists is to be their boss." After unplugging his electric guitar in 2012 to focus on more "cerebral" shows, just to finally pass himself off as an artist to a certain fraction of the caviar left, Didier decides to put a rock band back together (named DISCOUNT) because it's more relaxing for him and intellectually more accessible to the poor, who have become a largely majority clientele in our country.
