The story
MAQUINA. is a Lisbon-based trio and one of Portugal’s most active live acts on the European circuit. Formed by Halison Peres (drums/vocals), João Cavalheiro (guitar), and José Rego (bass), the band fuses krautrock, industrial electronics, and noise into a hypnotic, high-impact sound driven by repetition and rhythm.
Following the releases of Dirty Tracks for Clubbing (2023) and Prata (2024), MAQUINA has cemented its place within the European alternative scene, touring extensively and building a reputation for intense, physical live performances where dancefloor energy meets raw experimentation. Their shows are immersive and relentless, drawing audiences across genres. A standout moment includes their Live on KEXP session at Trans Musicales (France), showcasing the band’s precision and visceral power to a global audience.
MAQUINA. represent a new wave of Portuguese music, boundary-pushing, rhythm-driven, and impossible to stand still.
Support Warm Parts are a synth driven Post Rock / Krautrock / Shoegaze band based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. The instrumental 3 piece are Rachael Elwell on synths, programming, Theremin and visual artist. Bryn Hans, drums, and Dan Smith on guitar. The band share influences including Diiv, Neu, Add N to (X), Slowdive, The KVB and Mogwai amongst others.
