Maria Satine

Maria Satine has been DJing in Barcelona's clubs for over ten years. Her sets combine the roots of hip hop and R&B with electronic music, also incorporating patterns of house, UK garage, afrobeat, and dancehall. Dynamic and possessing good mixing technique, the Barcelona-born DJ shows character in her sets, connecting with the crowd and passing on her rhythm to the dancefloor.

She has performed in venues such as Razzmatazz, NOXE, Bus Terraza, Casa Seat, Club Sauvage, or Stereo18, and has participated in massive events like the Brunch Electronik Festival, the Pedralbes Festival, Bridal Fashion Week, Van Van Food, the Gràcia Festivities, or Born Street Food. She is also the music editor of La Ruina, Spain's most listened-to podcast.

Satine started at 16 playing the drums in a band she formed with her friends, with whom she performed in legendary Barcelona venues such as Razzmatazz, Apolo, or BeCool. Almost twenty years later, she is still present in the city's music scene.
