Marti Perramon

At just 22 years old, Barcelona-born and South London-based Marti Perramon is emerging as one of the most distinctive new voices in British pop songwriting. His self-described “wonky pop” blends infectious pop, R&B and hip-hop with razor-sharp songwriting, playful charm and unfiltered honesty. Influenced by artists including Role Model, Audrey Hobert, Remi Wolf and Bruno Mars, Marti’s music champions individuality, vulnerability and character-led storytelling.

Born in Barcelona and raised by a flamenco-loving mother and jazz percussionist father, Marti grew up immersed in music. Moving to London at nine without speaking English, he found in music a way to connect and make sense of the world – an outsider perspective that continues to shape his emotionally direct songwriting and close relationship with his audience.

His debut EP, A Brief Note That Ended Up Being About You (2025), introduced his conversational, diaristic approach to songwriting, while follow-up Boy From Barcelona, Baby (2025) cemented his position as a rising force. The project earned BBC Radio 1 support, sold-out headline shows, a debut at The Great Escape and support tours with Alessia Cara, Arthur Hill and Ben Ellis across the UK and Europe. In February 2026, Marti took the Boy From Barcelona, Baby Tour on the road, selling out his headline shows and further establishing himself as a magnetic live performer.
