Midwife

Madeline Johnston started her Midwife project in 2017 with a cathartic debut album, Like Author, Like Daughter, which she composed and recorded DIY.

Since then, she has carved out her own niche within the heavy scene under the moniker "Heaven Metal," notably with her latest solo record, No Depression In Heaven, released in 2024.

On stage, she delivers emotionally charged music that she will be presenting in Paris for only the second time.

Devin Shaffer is a New York-based musician.

After releasing a series of EPs under the name Yarrow, she first caught attention with her debut LP In My Dreams I'm There (2021). On her latest album, Patience (2025), Devin Shaffer's songwriting reaches perfection in a radiant minimalist folk record, woven with piano, harp, and delicate percussion, cementing her place at the forefront of the new avant-garde folk scene.
