5 years, 5 years (already) since the doors of MINDTRIP were opened to you. Tens of thousands of records later, several thousand of you have stepped through the shop's doors, countless hours of listening, hundreds of meetings, packages sent to the 4 corners of the world, a first compilation and lots of exchanges - so many moments that will remain engraved forever. So THANK YOU all ❤️ Being a record store owner is far from easy, but it's the one I chose and every day you remind me why I get up 🫰 I am proud to defend our (counter)culture, and to do it for and in Marseille.

Thanks also to Nido and the entire Atipik team: we finally have access to a venue where all the conditions are met to party with a capital P. And in Marseille that's far from common... So it is quite naturally that I decided to celebrate this anniversary at their place. For the occasion I invited Francesco aka DJ Tree - he perfectly represents the store's vision. He will be accompanied by Clayton Guifford, a long-time friend and more than qualified DJ to kick off the party and get you on the right tracks.

➫ DJ TREE - IT 🇮🇹 (22AGENCY) Born and raised in Naples, Italy in the mid-80s, he showed a keen interest in music from an early age, especially hip-hop, and recorded mixtapes for his classmates. Thanks to the "internet revolution", he began downloading and sharing a multitude of tracks with others, which allowed him to build a musical culture and acquire knowledge in electronic music. Inspired by the artists he heard playing at parties, first in Naples and then across Europe, he decided to travel the continent, working during the summer seasons in Ibiza before settling in London, where he met Laurine. Together, they decided to move to Berlin, where he would meet the rest of the future Slow Life crew: Cecilio, Sergio, and Santi, with whom he collaborated from the very creation of the collective until the summer of 2020. DJ Tree is currently developing and launching his new personal project: a multidisciplinary platform entitled "Notti di luna piena". Through it, he tries to define new, deeper and more complex facets of his conception of music, promoting new emerging artists and directly integrating other art forms.

➫ CLAYTON GUIFFORD -🇫🇷 FR (LAATE) Clayton started DJing in 1999 and draws his influences mainly from the US and Chicago. Inspired by many artists like Moodymann and Derrick Carter, he is a technician and fine digger. He loves House in all its forms, which allows him to play in high places of electronics such as RexClub, Concrete or Tresor (Berlin). He is at the head of several labels including LAATE, KICKNDANCE & SOFTBREAD MUSIC COMPANY.

➫ HI.lo -🇫🇷 FR (MINDTRIP RECORDS) Child of Marseille, Olivier aka HI.lo opened the Mindtrip record store in 2021 located at 9 rue Fontange in the 6th arrondissement. Specialized in electronic music, passionate about the black disc since he was a kid, he spent a good part of his life in Paris where he built his musical culture. Between organizing parties, DJing, and producing artists, he has been handling vinyl for over 25 years. In 2019, he decided to return to settle back home in the Phocaean city, in order to participate more actively in the development of the local scene.
