No Cigar is a five-piece band hailing from Aotearoa, New Zealand. They have released three studio albums, Under The Surface (2025), The Great Escape (2023), and Bienvenido (2022), which have received widespread critical acclaim—captivating audiences with their infectious rhythms and compelling storytelling.

Under The Surface was primarily written in Chantilly, a small town located an hour north of Paris, where the band rehearsed, composed, and recorded their music during their 2023 European tour. The album was finalized while touring New Zealand with producer Connor Jaine. The new album highlights their unique blend of psychedelic rock and groovy guitars. Their growing popularity is fueled by their dynamic live performances, which have earned them a loyal and enthusiastic following.
