Franco-Lebanese singer-songwriter and producer Noor hides behind no artifice. She writes the way she breathes—otherwise, she would suffocate. True to those who shaped her aesthetic education without ever compromising artistically, Noor develops a hyper-sensitive, stripped-down pop with a grand cinematic melancholy, in the tradition of classics by Lana Del Rey, Joji, and Bon Iver. The eleven tracks on the album oscillate between majestic sad-pop and electronic sobriety, where every kick resonates like a heartbeat.
