Not Scientists

Not Scientists emerged from the band Uncommonmenfrommars. Driven by a burning desire to brighten up their guitar riffs without sacrificing the raw power of their sound, the four musicians quickly wrote enough songs to conquer the stage and (re)claim their place as kings of the road. From bars to clubs, from tiled pub floors to raised festival stages all over Europe (and even in the USA), Not Scientists have forged their path, clocking thousands of kilometers in their van and winning over a first curious, then loyal audience with their indie-oriented harmonies, powered by crystal-clear guitars, melodic vocals, and an overwhelming rhythm section. In the very spirit of the French independent music scene, Not Scientists soon released their first EP "LEAVE STICKERS ON OUR GRAVES" to lay the foundations for this new project. This was followed by their debut album "DESTROY TO REBUILD", which immediately shaped their identity. The creative shift that came with GOLDEN STAPLES, their second album released in 2018 (preceded by a split 7" with the unstoppable Australian band Hard-Ons), was crucial to the evolution of the band's sound. Melodic richness and clear guitars were enhanced by new-wave influences and slower BPMs.
