A very special edition of Off The Grid is in the works: on September 19th, Dave Clarke, Mia Mao's emblematic resident, will celebrate his birthday behind the decks.

A mythical figure of English techno, Dave Clarke has embodied sonic intransigence and the underground spirit for thirty years. His Off The Grid residency at Mia Mao lives up to its name: free from formats and refocused on the raw energy of the dancefloor, it brings together major figures of the scene as well as new voices of techno resistance. Line-ups are built with precision, in a constant tension between industrial techno, sharp electro, and futuristic rave.

This party will therefore be a very special date, because in addition to celebrating his birthday on September 19th, you can also check out his photo exhibition "Shots" at Jardin21. Through portraits and urban exploration photography, "Shots" is an extension of Dave Clarke's singular nocturnal universe. Free admission from September 16th to 26th at Jardin21.

🔴 Dave Clarke Dave Clarke will take control of Mia Mao for a new edition of his Off The Grid residency. A mythical figure of English techno, he has embodied a radical and uncompromising vision of the underground for over thirty years. Through a set fluctuating between sharp electro, industrial techno, and futuristic rave, he will impose the raw tension and direct energy that have made him one of the most respected artists on the scene.

🔴 Louisahhh Producer, DJ, and composer, Louisahhh has been behind the decks since the age of 17. Her martial, edgy techno with fierce punk energy is not afraid to kick down doors, driven by one principle: making techno for punks, punk for ravers. An American living in France, the one they call the "Patti Smith of Techno" has already made a name for herself, topping the charts with 'Let the Beat Control Your Body' or 'Nobody Rules the Street', not to mention impressive solo releases (the excellent Shadow Work in 2015) and several collaborations with Maelstrom, with whom she founded the RAAR label.

🔴 Candy Cox A major figure on the international techno scene for over twenty years, Brazilian artist Candy Cox is renowned for her intense sets blending techno, acid, industrial, and hard techno. After making her mark on the Brazilian underground scene, she performs in benchmark clubs and festivals such as Awakenings, Dance Valley, Fabrik, Florida135, and Aquasella. Based in Barcelona since 2012, she developed the "Loud" and "Get Loud" events, and later founded Robota Records in 2023, a label and platform blending old-school heritage and contemporary experimentation.

🔴 David Shaw And The Beat (live) A singular figure of the electronic scene, David Shaw has been developing a universe at the crossroads of punk, new wave, industrial, and techno for over twenty years. Having passed through Black Strobe and DBFC, he has also collaborated with Jennifer Cardini and Vitalic. Now performing solo under the name David Shaw And The Beat, he composes dark, direct, and danceable music, driven by goth-punk vocals, acid synthesizers, and club-tailored rhythms. His albums Love Songs With A Kick confirm a radical identity, free from genres and conventional formats.

🔴 L.F.T. L.F.T., alias Love Fist Tears, is a DJ, producer, and live act originally from Hamburg, now based in Berlin. His universe blends electro, new wave, and breakbeat, featuring saturated drum machines, romantic synth melodies, and dark atmospheres. Author of several albums and releases on Return To Disorder, Mechatronica, Tresor, and Mannequin Records, he develops music that is simultaneously futuristic, melancholic, and intense.
