The story
OPAL MAG
Opal Mag is a Brighton indie artist crafting hazy, guitar-driven songs that blend dream-pop, shoegaze and '90s alternative rock. Drawing inspiration from Mazzy Star, The Sundays, The Breeders and The Smashing Pumpkins, her confessional songwriting pairs atmospheric soundscapes with intimate, emotionally charged melodies.
Her debut EP Goodbye Lavender, released via Venn Records, explores themes of love, identity, nostalgia and the search for freedom. Following support slots with Black Honey, Overpass and Phoebe Green, Opal Mag has quickly become one of the UK's most exciting emerging artists, earning praise from NME, Stereogum, Clash, So Young and BBC 6 Music, with a busy festival season continuing her rapid rise.
WINTER GARDENS
Winter Gardens blend the hazy textures of dream-pop and shoegaze with the urgency of post-punk, creating an immersive, emotionally charged sound they describe as "dreampunk." Balancing shimmering guitars, driving rhythms and cinematic atmospheres, the band have earned acclaim from BBC Radio 1, KEXP, Radio X, Louder Than War and more, while sharing stages with Echo & The Bunnymen, Gary Numan, Modern English and Pale Blue Eyes.
Following the acclaimed EP Uncomfortable/Unlovable, Winter Gardens continue their momentum with new single Fragile Boy and a forthcoming EP.
