Ana Roxanne's music inhabits a space where ambient, minimalism, slowed-down jazz and vocal folk dissolve into a deeply intimate universe.

After training between California and Uttarakhand, India —where she traveled to learn traditional Hindustani vocal techniques—, she consolidated her own sonic language at Mills College. Her debut '~~~' (2015), reissued by Leaving Records in 2019, gave way to 'Because of a Flower' (2020) on Kranky, which The Guardian defined as "a magical pop-ambient mirrorworld".

Now she presents 'Poem 1', her second album and her most stripped-down statement to date: slowed-down jazz, minimalism and vocal folk marked by catharsis, finding hope in the slowness and the smoky sadness of her piano themes. A live performance that brings this delicate catharsis to the stage.
