The story
Brussels-born PEET is back in Paris once again! After two sold-out shows at La Maroquinerie and one at La Cigale, he confirms his meteoric rise in the hearts of Parisians and takes on L’Olympia for 2026!
This exceptional date was announced right after the release of a live album, recorded and filmed during his last appearance at La Cigale. PEET confided that this date was one of his finest moments on stage, if not the best! He had rocked the packed venue and transmitted all his emotion and energy to the audience, backed by his loyal team of talented musicians.
Always very prolific, PEET followed up with the release of a new album: Joyboy on February 27, 2026. With this project, he returns to his love of instruments, delivering an even more personal, organic album, driven by an increasingly confident musical sensitivity. It features round, jazzy sounds imbued with soul and funk, as well as a more pop and luminous aesthetic than before, which is also thanks to the musicians accompanying him. At 32, ten of which have been dedicated to rap, Peet confides: “I’ve evolved in my writing and learned to use my voice better.” The title of the album comes from One Piece. “I’m a huge fan of this manga. He’s a character who comes to set things right in this world that isn’t doing well. I wouldn’t describe myself exactly like that. But he’s someone who has been through quite a few trials.” Literally meaning “joyful boy,” Joyboy becomes a metaphor here: finding inner peace, keeping hope despite doubts, becoming an adult.
Through these new tracks, Peet questions his doubts, explores his ties with loved ones, invites us on a journey, addresses the ups and downs of his life as an artist, and talks about resilience. In total sincerity, with his eyes turned toward the sky.
