At 29, Piche has established herself as one of the most singular figures on the French music scene. Behind this now-iconic name, Mike — his given name — claims a hybrid identity that defies labels: "a singer who does drag, not a drag queen who sings." This nuance sums up both her artistic ambition and her free relationship with gender. She composes her music with her brother, using their shared heritages and differences to create a sound that is as inclusive as it is incisive. Originally from the south of France, of Algerian and Romani descent, Piche has forged a path at the crossroads of disciplines. Dancer, choreographer, performer, singer, and rapper, she approaches each medium as a piece of the same puzzle, seeking to give her art a total dimension. Her instinctive and direct approach leads her to shake up codes, both on stage and in the public space. She thus became the first drag queen to enter the album top charts with her EP "Festin", to perform at Printemps de Bourges, and to represent French drag during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Revealed to the general public through her appearances on Drag Race France, Piche stands out for her sense of spectacle and the power of her universe. In 2023, her first track "Confess" sparked a genuine craze: the track crossed one million streams in record time and landed on several platform charts. In 2025, as a finalist in the first All-Star edition, she confirmed her status as a complete artist by fusing camp, pop culture, rap, and social commitment. 2025 is a pivotal year for Piche. From the documentary "L’Absent, dans le coeur de Piche" broadcast on France Télévisions, which traces her creative process and family journey, to a sold-out Cigale show, she confirms her superstar status. Her track "Carré" has accumulated over 2 million streams and 600,000 views in 4 months — a record for a French drag artist. What's next? She has announced an Olympia show for November 2026 and, above all… her very first album to be released this year!
