Lebanese band Postcards return to Portugal to present “RIPE”, their fifth studio album. Blending shoegaze, dream pop, post-punk, grunge and noise, the band translates over a decade of social tension and political violence in Lebanon into songs where alienation, melancholy and resistance coexist. Recorded mostly live, “RIPE” is an album born from anger, grief and uncertainty, but also from the refusal to surrender to despair. The result is the most intense, vulnerable and affirmative work of their career.
