Four months after Nolan's very American Odyssey, we want to pay tribute to one of the most versatile figures in great American cinema. We are talking about a producer, a director, an actor, an editor and, last but not least, a musician: John Carpenter.

The sound world of Carpenter's films centers around the VCS3, an analog synthesizer which, precisely thanks to these works, became the signature sound of a genre, an era, and an aesthetic.

In Carpenter's career there was also a precious crossover: the pen of Ennio Morricone, who indeed composed the soundtrack for The Thing.

Three nights away from Halloween, we offer you an evening of in-depth study, exploration, and performance of the music composed by John Carpenter for his films, wrapped in the warm, rich sound of a Juno 6, a Korg MS-20 mini, and a Multivox.
