A "From Bebop to Hip Hop" evening, in the spirit of Quincy Jones, co-founder of Qwest TV.

Three bands, three visions of jazz and hip-hop: grooves, beatmaking, and freestyles will converse throughout the night.

Vibraphonist Alexis Valet opens the evening with The Cypher, a refined quintet where contemporary jazz, hip-hop, soul, and electronic textures converse.

// GROWL! //

GROWL! is a supergroup bringing together Hervé Salters of General Elektriks, Cyril Atef of Bumcello and Papatef, Leeroy of Saïan Supa Crew, and Californian rapper Lateef the Truthspeaker.

Time Is Color, the project of pianist and composer Cédric Hanriot - collaborator of Herbie Hancock and Dianne Reeves - brings jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music into dialogue.

Fronted by Nunny's vocals, the quartet blurs the boundaries.
