About Resonance Flow
Resonance is memory. It is the imprint linking sound to space, movement to silence. It is what brings us back to the dancefloor, what pushes us to seek those moments where everything aligns: the right track, the right venue, the right energy. Resonance Flow is a new event series dedicated to the essence of electronic music. Stripped to the extreme, rooted in depth. A space where sound unfolds naturally, guided by selectors who understand its power to transport and transform.
For Episode 01, the journey begins with a selector whose approach perfectly embodies this philosophy: Kensa
Kensa's art draws its source from a deep fascination with sound, its textures, and its ability to metamorphose a venue. Originally from central Italy and based in London for over fifteen years, his beginnings (often shared with Nicky Macha, co-founder of Outransa) awakened a curiosity that has become an approach to DJing that is as refined as it is exploratory. Lorenzo's sets are defined by long-form storytelling, where time becomes fluid and the dancefloor a space for exploration rather than anticipation. His sets unfold as avant-garde narratives, blending acid pulses, hypnotic rhythms, and deep, rolling basslines, in a style that is both raw and futuristic. Whether opening the evening or delivering its climax, he treats every moment as an opportunity to shape an evolving narrative built on intuition, constant research, and meticulous care given to record collecting. Appearances in venues such as Fold, Starlane, Club der Visionaere, Hoppetosse, Apollo Studios in New York, .TAG in Chengdu, or SX in Seoul have positioned Kensa on an international circuit renowned for its demanding dancefloors. His acclaimed recordings, notably the celebrated multi-hour Outransa session recorded at Fold for Cartulis, once again highlight his commitment to depth, nuance, and narrative-driven selections (link to the set: https://on.soundcloud.com/YHa17L4Q24kAI1NH6S). Together, these milestones have anchored his identity as an artist who constantly favors subtlety over showmanship, depth over appearances, and authentic musical discovery over ready-made formulas.
