AS PART OF THE 30th EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL Saturday, October 10, 2026, the family is getting together. And obviously, nobody thought to warn the neighbors. For the opening of the 30th Villes des Musiques du Monde Festival, HORDE PARIS, FER À COUDRE, and TEKNIBAL take over Le Point Fort d’Aubervilliers for a big day of reunions, dancing, and joyful mixing. From 3 PM to midnight, two spaces—outdoors and under the big top—will host a lineup as eclectic as a playlist made by three cousins who have absolutely nothing in common musically: DJ sets, live acts, performances, shows, dance workshops, and surprises of all kinds. Here, traditional music crosses paths with electronic bass, the traditional ball meets the club, live performance invites itself onto the dancefloor, and the boundaries between stage and audience gradually become an administrative problem. Performers will include Almond Butyl, Le Mange Bal, Mercure, Osso, Maître Mim’s, Cie Enezeg, and many other guests who have come to make this strange blended family dance. A day to bring together cultures, generations, practices, and dance moves. No need to know everyone: by the end, you'll probably be part of the family. Between gifts, flowers for Grandma, and the 14 bottles of wine nobody asked you to bring, we decided to do things differently. The first 300 people who arrive before 4 PM get in for FREE. Yes. For free. Zero euros. Nada. That's our way of saying: "It's a pleasure to see you." Then, because we actually have to pay for the venue rental and the kids who still chose a career in live entertainment: → Reduced rate (Aubervilliers residents, RSA beneficiaries, under 18) before 5 PM: €10 → Before 5 PM: €15 → Regular rate: €20 → Late rate: €25 → Free admission: children under 8 (ticket to be collected on-site at the box office) So, if you want to enjoy the best rate, come early. Because at 4:01 PM, the free admission will probably have packed its bags and left without saying goodbye. The 300 free tickets are subject to availability. After that, we do what every family does: we negotiate.
