SALO is a Manchester-based artist, producer, vocalist, and DJ whose work moves fluidly between soul-soaked songwriting, jazz-inspired piano compositions. Born in Tbilisi, Georgia and raised in the UK from a young age, she is classically trained on piano and draws deep influence from legacy voices like Nina Simone and Amy Winehouse, fused with her Georgian musical heritage and the energy of the UK underground scene.

Her sonic identity is dual: on one hand, she crafts emotionally rich soul, jazz and piano-led songs, and previously on the other, she’s a high-energy presence in the UK jungle & DnB world — bringing smoky vocals, gritty intensity, and dancefloor charisma to both club stages and major festivals.

With her EP being released summer 2026, SALO is set to showcase a more soul/jazz focus. SALO’s catalog bridges electronic, soul, and bass music with standout work that has earned millions of streams and a growing global fanbase.
