Sissies - 30 Jahre

Local heroes, border crossers, affectionate style-chaotics, sea breeze-surrounded beer consumers. They are clearly members of the `ì was almost the shit in the 90´s/00´s` family.... Shows with i.a. Yuppicide, The Hellacopters, Soulfly, Disturbed, Backyard Babies, Black Label Society, Dozer.... , on tour i.a. with Smoke Blow and Gluecifer ...countless legendary, sweat-drenched, booze-soaked shows in the old Molotow in St. Pauli, proud house band of the Marquee, St. Pauli and and and. Many good people woke up with headaches and a diabolical grin after Sissies' nights.

That is supposed to happen again!

12 years after their breakup, they met again in 2017 in the honorable "Goldenen Salon" to loudly and sweatily tear apart and celebrate the 20th anniversary of their beloved debut "fixed" and the 51st anniversary of their mentor, manager and malad-minister Mathias "Botsch" Böttcher with many old and new friends.

In doing so, they rediscovered their feelings for each other and their rejection of bullshit music and even if they now look like a horde of outcast monks tuning the triangle for the Helge Schneider Band.....they are still nasty, hungry, loud, nuts, almost unpleasantly amiable and unique.......Maybe with their bastard of Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Kyuss and Cro-Mags they will finally save the underground, or even all of St. Pauli.
