A founding group of French rap, Sniper was born in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, formed by Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko, and DJ Boudj. They quickly left their mark on the musical landscape with powerful albums such as Du rire aux larmes (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003), and Trait pour trait (2006), blending political commitment, life in the housing estates, social critique, and poetic strength.

For 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano announce their return to the stage under the name Sniper duo version. A self-proclaimed return to their roots: reviving the classics, offering new songs, and reaffirming their voice in conscious rap. Fans can expect throwbacks to iconic tracks, but also the discovery of a more mature universe, stripped of past tensions, centered on respect, authenticity, and energy.
