The story
**sorrel** are a band who enjoy opposing ideas. Use of art-folk, jazz and indie structures allows for the ethereal vocals to be modified further. In the songs, darkness works alongside tenderness to drive a captivating and musically diverse performance.
**Henry Coke**’s music oscillates between desolation, distortion, beauty, and rage, his imagination illuminated by Rainer Maria Rilke’s poetry, the cinematic surrealism of David Lynch, Philip Ridley’s myriad avenues of storytelling, the unsettling grace of Flannery O’Connor, and the intricate narratives of Donna Tartt.
**i c roses** marks a fresh slate for producer and songwriter Callum Rose, as he rediscovers what music can mean when it’s made for yourself. Joined on stage by George Willets on clarinet and drums, modular textures brush against classical guitars to create a playground of gear and instruments where production speaks as loudly as the lyrics.
