In a relentless and restless world, Stu Larsen went looking for silence and stillness in some of the most remote corners of the globe. Solitude isn’t about escaping life, it’s about slowing down enough to notice it.

Writing 12 songs over 12 months while hiding away in 12 different locations around the world with nothing but a guitar, a few cameras and some simple recording equipment, Solitude is Larsen’s year-long journey to parts unknown.

Over the course of this project, Larsen re-discovered that something magical happens when you completely disconnect from the world and intentionally spend time alone, allowing thoughts and emotions to flow, without the constant distractions of a life lived in this modern, connected age.
