The story
\*\*Superfan** (US)
Superfan is the songwriting and composition project of Kali Priya Flanagan, a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer. Initially conceived as a solo project, Superfan gradually distinguished itself through its ambitious string arrangements, crafted in collaboration with cellist Omeed Almassi, which have become the signature of its noisy and magnetic pop.
Having recently signed with the London-based label AD 93 (Joanne Robertson, YHWH, Nailgun, Dagmar Zuniga), Superfan recently unveiled three singles – "Miss W Jones", "Apeiron (Fantasy Football)", and "Picture Of Return" – which mark the birth of what Kali calls "Acousticello". Bolstered by a new stability and a vision freed from any constraints, Kali trades literalism for fragmented and impressionistic lyricism, transforming sentimental ballads into narratives crossed by enigmatic images and a literary sensibility that testify to a renewed confidence in both his pen and his voice.
Among his main influences, Kali cites albums such as 1996 by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Parasol by The Sea and Cake, The Greatest by Cat Power, Trust by Low, or Hvarf/Heim by Sigur Rós, as well as the vocal styles of Elizabeth Fraser, Beth Gibbons, Rufus Wainwright, and Harriet Wheeler (The Sundays). His characteristic guitar tone, melancholic voice, and ability to conceive particularly impactful live arrangements have led him to collaborate on writing, production, cover songs, and stage performances alongside artists such as Operelly, Jordan Patterson, and Quiet Light.
Personally invited by Julian Casablancas, an admirer of the project, Superfan notably opened for The Strokes at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The band has also shared the bill with Quiet Light, Knifeplay, Kath Bloom, Horsegirl, Userband, Samba Jean-Baptiste, Zoh Amba, PARKiNG, Brittle Brian, Tiberius B, Autobahn, untitled (halo), voyeur, Birdfeeder, Racing Mount Pleasant, and many other influential artists of the current indie scene.

\* **Gabriel Kröger** (Paris)
Gabriel Kröger is the hooded anti-hero of rock chanson, the bastard child of English folk-punk and the French alternative scene. Gabriel loves himself as much as he hates himself. And Gabriel loves himself very much.
